EX CONVENTO MADONNA DI COSTANTINOPOLI

An ancient Franciscan spiritual retreat situated in one of the most bewitching areas of Central Italy: Valnerina in the Appenine Mountains, between Umbria and the Marches, where nature, art and history meet. The magnificent seventeenth-century monastery contains a cloister, a well, chapels, frescos. There are ample fields, ancient woods. On the ground floor there are a number of large rooms, including the refectory, a day-room with an impressive fireplace, the ancient kitchen of the friars, plus a modern billard-room, a state-of-the art kitchen range and various other services. On the first floor there are the cells once used by the monks and now converted into double, single and family rooms. Twenty-five beds in the monastery and six beds in the small house (near the monastery).
